TRAINING
WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?
For five months, groups of 20 teenagers take part in a program that combines training and socio-occupational integration workshops, with the aim of providing them with useful tools for the future, making them aware of the importance of studying and encouraging the creation of healthy routines.

FREQUENCY?

Weekly.

PURPOSE?

At the age of 18, teenagers under foster care move a very protected environment to independence. With training programs such as “Together We Rise”, Soñar Despierto wants to give these young people useful tools to face the difficult transition to adult life.
MOTIVATING PROGRAMS
WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?
Weekend programs that combine leisure activities and training workshops to make teenagers aware of the need to train for a better future, and offer them useful knowledge and tools for their day-to-day life once they leave the foster institution.

FREQUENCY?
3 weekends per year.

PURPOSE?
We provide teenagers with the opportunity to spend time with their peers in a healthy environment together, where they feel listened and understood. Additionally, we use these weekends to transmit values such as the importance of effort, commitment and setting and achieving their goals.
"UNSTOPPABLE!"
WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?
A volunteer and a teenager (13 - 17 years old) in foster care, will share one afternoon a week practicing some sport: football, basketball, climbing, boxing... The volunteer will become the child's "personal trainer" and will become part of his life by sharing healthy leisure time with him.

FREQUENCY?
Weekly.

PURPOSE?
It is very important for us to ensure that the child reinforces his self-esteem through sport and, at the same time, feels recognized by the adult.
