One of the maxims of Soñar Despierto is to ensure that all children have a full childhood and the same opportunities as other children their age, regardless of the circumstances in which they have had to live. And this includes enjoying the most special dates of the year just like everyone else.

All this becomes even more important when it comes to teenagers, as they are going through a very complicated stage in which lack of motivation and low self-esteem play a very important role, and any activity that allows them to celebrate, get out of the routine and forget for a moment their worries, can be a turning point.

For this reason, throughout the year, Soñar Despierto organizes two major events in which they are the protagonists:

Christmas for all:

This great event arises from the need to extend the celebration of Christmas with the little ones to the "older children".
We celebrate a day of games, group dynamics, shows... and a visit from the Three Wise Men with their corresponding delivery of gifts!

Olympics

This great event was born in Madrid, after thinking about how to celebrate "Children's Day" with teenagers and young people who are part of the programs of Soñar Despierto.
We took advantage of this day to enjoy a day of outdoor games and sports activities in which we could team up, meet other teenagers who are in the same situation as us and meet new volunteers who want to share this day with us.
